What to Do if Your Child Misses Photo Day (Absent)

If your child was absent on photo day and you’ve already placed an order, SchoolPix has a policy designed to address this situation. We will refund the difference between the total cost of your order and the price of a class group print. This ensures your child will still have a class photograph, serving as a keepsake of the school year and their classmates. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method.

Expect the refund process to take up to five business days, depending on your banking institution’s policies.

Should you prefer to cancel your order entirely and receive a full refund, please contact SchoolPix’s Customer Care Team within three business days of the original photo day.

There’s still an opportunity for your child if they missed photo day and our team isn’t scheduled for another visit to your school. We invite you to bring your child for a portrait session at our temporary studio in Hallam during the school holidays (excluding summer holidays). To secure a spot, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team at 1300 766 055 to be placed on the waitlist for an appointment.

Please note that group photos are not subject to retakes. If your child was absent, their name will be listed under the “absent” section of the class group print.

Keep in mind that portrait retakes are not available for children in kindergarten.
