Will my child miss out on having a photo taken if I don't preregister or consent before photo day?
Commencing September 26th, 2025 - we are unable to photograph every child in line with the new legislation.
Your preschool decides on how consent is to be collected - you can always ask your preschool if you have any queries about this.
Only children with supplied consent from a parent or guardian will be photographed by our team on the preschool photo session.
By agreeing to register and by providing consent for photography services, you are agreeing to individual activity photos as well as any group * photographs that are booked by your preschool to include your child.
Why is consent so important?
Consent protects your child's privacy and ensures the family stays in control.
At the same time, it determines whether your child will have individual photos and they may also appear in group * photos, which are a meaningful keepsake for them and their friends!
Remember - without consent, your child will not be photographed. Whilst your child's friends are having photos taken, your child will be supervised separately by the preschool staff.
* Group refers to any image with more than one child - for example, any official class groups, friendship photo requests or sibling photos.
